Updating

So I've lagged a lot and haven't written in awhile. Let's see, since my last post we've been to California Adventure which was a blast, Andrea and Oliver are so much fun!

Our friend Michelle had a birthday and we had a great time out at Aculpocos. My brother who is part of his high schools track team had an invitational so I got to play paparrazi for a few hours. Easter was chaos going back and forth between the different families, and it was Corey's dad's birthday. Last night I get to spend time with my family, my grandma and Sister Pat as well. We had dinner together then went to the driving range, it was really fun to do together.
I've reconnected with some old friends and I'm ecstatic about it. We lost touch back in high school after sophmore year and we've met a couple times for lunch, it's really fun and honestly hope they will be life long friends.

Weekend Fun

Friday night was Girls Night Out with work, we went to Mastros for drinks and appetizers, it was amazing. Then we headed to the Gourmet Detectives Dinner Theatre, that was definitely different, a bit hard to follow but the food was decent and we had some good laughs. We almost got kicked out about half-way through because some ladies had a little to much to drink, the limo ride was uneventful because the radio didn't work and we were only in it for about 30 minutes total. It was nice to get dressed up for a night on the town and the company was great.

Saturday I got a lot of laundry done and hung out at my parents for awhile. Corey got home not to long after I did and we went to his Anaheim yard to pick up his new scooter. I drove it about 50 feet not going over 2 mph, it was scary driving it on loose asphalt so I can't wait to try it again on the street. I'm hoping it will turn into my scooter and I can paint it pink. Corey says if I really do like it we can get me my own eventually. he's so excited about it he already went to the DMV this morning got it registered and took his motorcycle permit test...of course he passed.

Sunday we went to Weinersnitzel for lunch, it was such a beautiful day out that we ate outside rather then taking it home. While sitting there we saw a sign for an open house so we walked down the street and checked out these amazing little places. If we had an extra $25,000.00 in the bank we would be homeowners right now. The places were just perfect for what we are looking for for our first home. Granted I would like more space but everything was so great about these places we fell in love. To bad the market is so horrible right now...everyone says wait till the end of 2009 to seriously look, we have no $$ right now so we'll be lucky if by 2010 we could have a 10% down payment with the house prices around here. We so badly want to own our own home, but doesn't look like that's going to happen anytime soon. :(
